Ooops!
Today's Sunday strip was misdated! It was supposed to be printed last week, and last weeks Sunday strip was supposed to be printed today!
I need to be more careful looking at the calendar.
No harm done, I supposed. Just enjoy a late Thanksgiving comic strip!

Houston Chronicle drops Buckles
I've been receiving emails informing me that the Houston Chronicle has dropped Buckles from their comic lineup.
The best thing to do in this situation is to write the editor.
A lot of you have, but if you haven't, then send them a letter or an email telling them you want Buckles back.
There is no better way for a newspaper to know what readers want. They encourage it. You are their customers, and they want to be sure you are happy.
How two weeks fly...
Vacations go too fast. I'm home now and it's back to the grindstone.
The strips have been updated showing the most current from print two weeks ago.
I been receiving emails asking about the progress of the books. At this time, however, I have nothing to report, but as I mentioned, I will keep you all up to date as soon as I can.
A couple of notices...
First, it's vacation time for me. I updated the site for two weeks and it won't be updated until I return on the 19th.
Secondly, I have reduced the archive. One year's worth of strips was too much, as has been mentioned by my syndicate to me, so I have finally bent to their wishes.
Anyhow, I will see you all in 2 weeks!
Buckles books
As you know, the books have been out of stock 11 months out of every year they have been in print, and that was unacceptable.
I was patient with the publisher and trusted what I was told pertaining to the lack of copies produced and available, but not any longer.
I have now left the publisher and am seeking other printing options for the current and future collections.
I will keep you posted with any developments.
