during a recent upgrade and apparent hack over the holidays we lost everything since march 2005. cussing mad i've been trying to find the backup files, but to no avail. bangin' head i have most everyone who's registered... but if you are still having trouble email me (zhemi@netscape.net) IMEDIATELY and i'll get you set back up.

i have added a VISUAL CONFIRMATION for registration which will cut down on the SPAM of this board. lamer

AND as an added bonus and trial run check out the following link:

http://bucklescomic.com/WebCalendar-1.0.2/month.php

so, add your birthdays!! and let me know what you think!!

again, sorry about the board - i'm doing my best!!

you couldnt add your birthday to the calendar?

i tested it in three different browsers and it worked fine - altho, i have to say it works the best in IE. if you add an image, make sure its a SMALL image.

try again and let me know if you have any problems.

I'll try it again. (Firefox user)

Have you been able to locate the backup files yet?

Tried it again, the icons loaded but I was still unable to click and type in the "Full Description" area.

Sure, I have cookies enabled. Is it something like Java or Flash? My firewall blocks scripts and plug-ins like those.

yes, the menu (bold, italic, font, etc...) is a javascript added to the 'add entry' popup to make it easier for users to add an event to the calendar.

i use quite a bit of javascript on bucklescomic... im surprised this is the first problem you've had! on the homepage, do you see the floating menu on the left side of the screen?

try this...

hit the button on the menu bar marked '<>" it takes you to the html version instead of plain web. you should be able to type then. dont worry if you dont know html, just type what you want - leave the rest to me. i'll make it look nice. Wink

I lost more than you did, I'll never make it to Alpha. Sad

Tried that Zhemi, I could type and hit 'Save', but it doesn't seem to show up on the Calendar.

ahhh, that's cuz it goes into the 'Approve/Reject' pile for me to look over before it actually hits the calendar.

we wouldn't want any sickos posting porn or offensive material on our calendar now would we? it's there now... go check it out!!

anybody wanting to add the 'birthday' image to their birthdays can click the 'insert image' button, then in the URL section add this line -
http://www.bucklescomic.com/images/happybirthday.gif

also, dont forget if you want to make it a RECURRING EVENT (u know, one that happens EVERY year WITHOUT having to come back and keep on adding it, you have to go to the repeat section and fill that part out too!.
